MAN TAN began with a simple belief: men should feel confident taking pride in their appearance.

For us, self-tanning is part of that choice. We set out to create a product designed for men who want a natural-looking tan without sun tanning.

How it all started

In 2016, we asked ourselves why there weren’t more self-tanning options developed specifically for men. We saw an opportunity to create a formula with men’s grooming routines and preferences in mind.

That idea became MAN TAN.

Developed in Australia

We met with Australian tanning and cosmetic manufacturers before choosing a team of chemists to help develop our first samples.

Through weeks of testing and refining, we developed a formula with the qualities we were looking for: a masculine scent, a fast-drying finish and suitability for body hair.

Today, our Australian-made AminoTan™ self-tanning mousse has a clear, cologne-scented formula suitable for body and facial hair.

What comes next

Our ambition is to keep developing self-tanning and grooming products with men in mind. The belief behind MAN TAN remains the same: taking care of your appearance should feel like a normal part of looking after yourself.
