How AminoTan™ works

MAN TAN AminoTan™ is an Australian-made self-tanning mousse for men. Its clear, cologne-scented formula develops colour on the outer layer of your skin, giving the appearance of a tan without needing sun exposure.

The science behind the colour

The tanning ingredients described in our AminoTan complex are dihydroxyacetone (DHA) and erythrulose.

DHA reacts with amino acids in the outermost layer of skin to produce a temporary colour change. This process does not require ultraviolet (UV) light.

Designed with men in mind

AminoTan’s formula is suitable for body and facial hair. The mousse goes on clear, and an application mitt helps you spread and blend it evenly.

Follow the directions on your product for application and development time.

Self tan and sun protection

A self tan does not replace sunscreen or protect you from UV exposure. Continue to use sunscreen and other sun protection when outdoors.
